Tragedy Strikes Wedding: DJ Vehicle Runs Amok

A celebratory atmosphere turned tragic as a DJ vehicle went out of control during a wedding procession in Baira Khas village, resulting in the death of a woman and leaving two others severely injured.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on Friday evening during a procession heading to Varanasi. A young, inexperienced driver was reportedly behind the wheel, also managing the DJ equipment, when the vehicle plowed through dancers in the procession before crashing into a tree.

One victim, identified as Urmila Devi, was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver fled, abandoning the vehicle, which has been seized by police as investigations continue. The injured were transported to a hospital for treatment, and legal action is underway.
