Lady Gaga's song 'The Dead Dance' from Netflix's hit series 'Wednesday' is in the running for an Emmy Award under the outstanding music and lyrics category, as reported by Variety.

Collaborating with Andrew Watt and Cirkut, Gaga crafted this haunting track that appears in the second season of the Tim Burton-directed show, during a pivotal dance sequence in episode seven, performed by characters Enid and Agnes at the Venetian Gala.

The song's chilling theme, inspired by a breakup, is accompanied by a visually arresting music video directed by Burton. In the video, Gaga is seen amongst an eerie backdrop of baby dolls, eventually joined by masked dancers. Gaga's recent Mayhem Ball Tour included this track, while her cameo in the series as Rosaline Rotwood adds another creative layer.
