Auction house Christie's names Francois-Henri Pinault as its chairman

​French billionaire Francois-Henri ‌Pinault was ​named as ‌the new chairman of Christie's, which is owned ‌by his family investment ‌holding Artemis, the auction house said in ⁠a ​statement ⁠on Friday.

Bryan Lourd, the ⁠Hollywood talent agent ​and one of the leaders ⁠of CAA which ⁠is ​another asset majority-owned by the Pinault ⁠family, also joined Christie's ⁠board ⁠as a director.
