"It's very couture," Osaka remarked, likening her outfit to the nightly sparkle of the Eiffel Tower. She initially wore a structured, armor-like bodice with a long pleated skirt, before shedding these layers to compete against and ultimately defeat her German rival, Laura Siegemund, with scores of 6-3, 7-6 (3).

Earlier this year at the Australian Open, Osaka had sported a wide-brim hat and a veil, alongside a white parasol. Additionally, her appearance at the Met Gala in New York made headlines.
