Hemant Soren has instructed officials to broaden market reach for products crafted by women self-help groups (SHGs). He emphasized the importance of opening Palash Mart outlets, a Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society retail project, across various states to promote rural women's products.
Soren also urged the establishment of sales points at major tourist locations within Jharkhand to enhance the visibility and sales of such products. During a review with the Rural Development Department, he addressed several initiatives, including women’s housing and enhancing the Palash brand. Soren highlighted the need to support women SHGs more comprehensively to help them thrive through enterprise.
The meeting also detailed the construction progress of a new Palash Mart in Ranchi, with additional outlets planned for this year and the future. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of water conservation by engaging villagers in effective water management projects.
