Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited, paid a visit to the sacred shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath on Monday. Dressed in traditional attire, Ambani was welcomed warmly by attendees with folded hands as visuals captured him engaged in performing rituals and offering prayers at these revered Vaishnavite sites.

Badrinath is renowned as one of the 'divya desams', an esteemed group of 108 holy sites associated with Lord Vishnu, making it a crucial center for Vaishnavites. The town of Badrinath, also a part of the Panch Badri temples, holds significant spiritual reverence, including the Yog Dhyan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Adi Badri, and Vriddha Badri. As per Hindu tradition, Badrinath was re-established by the revered Adi Shankaracharya, aiming to revive Hinduism's lost prestige and unify the nation under a single spiritual bond.

In addition to his recent temple visit, Ambani, alongside his son Anant and daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant, offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala dressed in customary attire, demonstrating adherence to traditional practices. Further highlighting his spiritual inclinations, Ambani recently visited the Art of Living Foundation International Centre in Bengaluru, alongside Anant, as part of the foundation's 45th-anniversary celebrations, where they sought blessings from the spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
