Poldark Season 5 gets new trailer, Ross passionately hugs Demelza in short clip

The most disappointing fact is Poldark Season 5 is going to be the last and fans are quite upset since this has been declared, mainly they are going to say adieu to their favourite star Aidan Turner. However, you will be glad to learn that BBC One has shared the first look at the final season of Poldark in a short clip recently.

How Poldark Season 5 will start – this is a big question among the viewers. A 30-second clip of the imminent British historical period drama television series has been posted on the official Poldark Twitter page on June 30, which throws a glimpse of what is to be seen in the last series. It seems like the last season will feature more fighting with guns and swords, taking lives and even warm hugs between Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) and Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson).

The first look trailer for Poldark Season 5 makes the viewers learn about a new century and a new career for Aidan Turner’s Ross who would be putting Westminster behind him as the action kicks off with a time jump, Metro clarifies. According to the series creator, Debbie Horsfield, Ross will turn into a spy of sorts.

“We meet [Ross] again in book eight and he’s on a special mission for the British government in Portugal – and so the question is, how did he get from being a politician and mine owner to basically being a spy,” Debbie Horsfield said to Digital Spy.

Even Aidan Turner earlier said to The Sunday Times that the new series would focus on solving the mystery of Valentine’s parentage. “It’s a great story for George Warleggan; Jack [Farthing] is brilliant. He’s amazing, a real talent,” he added.

Fans are passionately waiting to see the episodes of Poldark Season 5, but do not want to say goodbye to the series.
