The filming of Avatar 2 has been finished and this was announced in July by the Titanic director James Cameron. The science fiction aficionados have been waiting for over a decade since the first movie Avatar created tremendous business in the box office.

Will Avatar 2 surpass the box office business of Avengers: Endgame? This is not a rumor or mere speculation we are trying to circulate. The fact is recently revealed by Cliff Curtis who strongly believes James Cameron’s upcoming movie Avatar 2 will manage to defeat Avengers: Endgame.

Fear the Walking Dead series’ actor Cliff Curtis has been cast as Tonowari, a new Na’vi character in Avatar 2. The 51-years-old actor has given his strong opinion on Avatar 2’s performance in advance. But he did not indicate that The Terminator director James Cameron gracefully accepted defeat to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as reported by Business Times China.

Cliff Curtis raised the issue of surpassing Avengers: Endgame’s success by Avatar 2 during the recent promotion of his new movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. “Mind you, my perspective is -- because I’m Avatar family -- they [Marvel] came into that with 20 movies. And I think, you know, I can't wait to see what happens,” Cliff Curtis said.

He also implied that Avengers: Endgame’s success only came due to the buildup from Marvel’s previous films spanning 20 years while Avatar achieved the USD2 billion mark on its first movie alone.

“I can’t wait to see what happens with two, three, four, and five. What’s going to happen? I’m so excited,” he cited. However, whether Avatar 2 manages to surpass the success of Avengers: Endgame or not, the global viewers will find out once James Cameron’s movie hits the big screens.

Avatar 2 is slated to premiere on December 18, 2020.
