One person was killed and three others were injured when a truck carrying apples overturned on a car near Hassan Valley which comes under the jurisdiction of Dhalli police station here, a police official said today.

The truck was also later removed from the road to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
Three people including Sandeep of Kotighat village here sustained serious injuries and they were rushed to the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) hospital, the official said.
An FIR was registered against the truck driver Gurdeep Singh under relevant IPC sections.
