Guj: Man held with Rs 1.86 lakh methamphetamine in Jamnagar

A person was Friday arrested allegedly with 74.4 grams of methamphetamine worth Rs 1.86 lakh, Jamnagar police said. Salim Lobi was arrested from a hut on the outskirts of Khimalia village by Special Operations Group personnel of the Jamnagar police said an official.

Apart from the contraband, Rs 79,400 in cash and the scale was also recovered from the accused, the SOG said. Preliminary probe has revealed that Lobi was supplying drugs, acquired from a Mumbai-based man identified as Zakir, to addicts in the vicinity of Khimalia village, police said.
