Humid day in Delhi, rain likely tomorrow

New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) It was a humid day in the national capital on Tuesday with the mercury settling two notches above normal.

"The minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius while the maximum settled at 34.6 degrees Celsius, both were two notches above normal," a MeT official said.

The humidity levels oscillated between 69 percent and 91 percent. The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy morning tomorrow with the possibility of rain in the afternoon hours.

"There would be partly cloudy sky (tomorrow) with the possibility of very light rain," the official said.

The maximum temperature is expected to touch 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will settle at 26 degrees Celsius, he added.

On Monday, the maximum temperature settled at 32.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.8 degrees.
