Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial weaken here Thursday

Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial weakened further in an otherwise lackluster Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here Thursday following poor offtake from soaps and shippers industries.

While, groundnut oil, refined palmolein and linseeds oil held stable in absence of any large-scale buying activity. In the non-edibles segment, castorseeds bold slid by Rs 5 per 100kg to Rs 4,620 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 4,625 and castor oil commercial softened by a Re per 10kg to Rs 954.

Linseeds oil ended unaltered to Rs 900 per 10kg. Moving to edible section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 870 per 10kg and Rs 680 per 10kg respectively.
