Bandla hills in HP suitable for paragliding: DC

Bandla hill site in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh is suitable for paragliding, said an official on Tuesday.

A trial flight was undertaken from Bandla to Luhnu ground under the supervision of Manali Director of Mountaineering Institute Avinash Negi on Tuesday for assessment and the site has been approved for paragliding, Deputy Commissioner Abid Hussain Sadiq said. Bilaspur is a very suitable area from the point of view of sports due to its plain area and with the introduction of paragliding, tourism activities would be expanded in the district, he added.
