The Russian-installed governor of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region said on Tuesday that the level of the Kakhovka reservoir near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant had fallen by 2.5 metres, and was expected to fall by up to 7 metres, as a result of the breach of the Kakhovka dam, Russia's state news agency TASS reported.

The breach of the Kakhovka dam, which supplies some of the cooling water to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, has added to fears of a disaster at Europe's largest nuclear plant, on the front line of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
