Truck collides with tractor-trolley in UP killing 5 and injuring 6 others

The injured have been rushed to a hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable.

Five persons were Monday killed when a speeding truck collided with a tractor-trolley on Shivpuri road in Sipri Bazar area here, police said.

The incident took place at around 3.30 am, killing five persons on the spot and injuring over six persons, Assistant Superintendent of Police (City) Devesh Pandey said.

Those killed were identified as Karan Singh (35), Hari Singh (45), Parmanand (65), Gayadeen (60) and Mewalal (60) - all residents of Madhya Pradesh.

The injured have been rushed to a hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable.
