US condemns Iran's seizure of oil tanker, calls for crew's release

The United States on Thursday condemned Iran's seizure of an oil tanker off the coast of Oman and called for the immediate release of the ship and its crew.
The U.S. will continue to consult with regional partners about appropriate steps to hold Iran accountable, State Department deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel told a regular news briefing.
