Sending Russian frozen assets to Ukraine would undermine global financial system, Russia minister says
Proposals to send frozen Russian gold and forex assets to support Ukraine are "erroneous and destructive" and could undermine the foundations of the global financial system, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said on Tuesday.
Russia can respond to such a step symmetrically, but now is not the time for escalation, but on the contrary, a way out of the current situation, Siluanov said.
