European commissioner for Trade: One country blocked fish deal, calling it 'unfortunate',

One country blocked the comprehensive agreement on banning harmful fisheries subsidies worldwide, European Commissioner for Trade Dombrovskis Valdis Dombrovskis said on Friday, later naming them as India and calling it "unfortunate".

"Certainly, today's ministerial showed that it's possible to reach outcomes if we work intensively on this and make progress. As I said, we would have wished more progress in some areas, notably agriculture and fisheries", he added during World Trade Organization ministerial conference in Abu Dhabi.
