China to encourage new energy vehicle industries to perform better, stronger, state planner says

China's state planner said on Tuesday it plans to build on and expand the country's strength in new energy vehicles.

China, the world's top producer and biggest market for electric vehicles, plans to encourage the industry to perform better and stronger, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said.
