BluPine Energy Partners with APL Apollo for Major Solar Deal

BluPine Energy has signed a PPA with APL Apollo Building Products for a 61.65-megawatt solar plant in Chhattisgarh. This plant will generate 94.5 million units of electricity annually, offsetting over 87,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions, and aim to reduce operating costs for APL Apollo.

In a significant move towards sustainable energy, BluPine Energy has entered into a power purchase agreement with APL Apollo Building Products, a subsidiary of APL Apollo Tubes. The deal encompasses a 61.65 MW solar plant situated in Chhattisgarh.

The ambitious solar initiative is expected to generate approximately 94.5 million units of electricity per year, contributing to a substantial reduction in carbon footprint by offsetting over 87,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, according to a statement from BluPine Energy.

The collaboration aims to decrease operating costs and enhance energy efficiency for APL Apollo Building Products. BluPine Energy, established in India by Actis, continues to lead the renewable energy sector by building and funding sustainable infrastructure projects globally.
