Bolivia Secures Oil Deal with Russia
Bolivian President Luis Arce announced an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin for Russia to supply oil to Bolivia. This deal ensures that Bolivia will have the necessary fuel supplies as its domestic production has decreased, and imports have risen to meet growing demand.
Bolivian President Luis Arce on Tuesday said an agreement had been reached with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for Russia to sell oil to the South American country, ensuring supply to Bolivia as its stores have dwindled.
Bolivia's output of fuels has fallen in recent years, and has begun importing more to keep up with rising demand, Arce added in a press conference.
