Empowering Rajasthan's Farmers: CM Bhajanlal Sharma's Vision

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma highlights the double-engine government's focus on farmers' welfare at the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana launch. He outlines various initiatives, such as additional financial support, solar power plants, and irrigation facilities, aiming to create a prosperous Rajasthan through agricultural development.

In a spirited address at the state-level launch of 'Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana', Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the prioritization of farmer welfare by the double-engine government. Alongside Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi, the state promises an additional Rs 2,000 to Rajasthan's farmers.

During the ceremony held at Krishi Upaj Mandi, Tonk, Sharma announced that Rs 653 crore has already been deposited into the accounts of 65 lakh farmers as the first installment. The state also offers a bonus for wheat purchases and promotes solar power and irrigation facilities, with substantial subsidies and MoUs targeting energy sufficiency.

Sharma underscored the government's commitment to comprehensive agricultural support, including crop loans and insurance claims, while enhancing irrigation through initiatives like the ERCP and Jal Swavlamban Yojna-2.0, aimed at solving water issues in 21 districts.
