NTPC Boosts Coal Production and Dispatch by Over 15% in Q1 FY25

NTPC, India's largest power generation company, has reported a 15% year-on-year increase in coal production from captive mines, reaching 9.862 MMT in the quarter ending June 2024. State-owned NTPC has announced a significant 15% year-on-year increase in coal production from its captive mines, totaling 9.862 metric million tonnes (MMT) in the first quarter of FY25.

The company also revealed a 17.15% growth in coal dispatch, achieving 10.194 MMT during the same period, according to a company statement.
