Hemant Soren Addresses Public, Reaffirms Commitment to Jharkhand's Development

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met with residents and social organizations, promising prompt resolution of issues. He highlighted the government’s efforts in implementing welfare schemes and committed to enhancing living standards. Soren, recently reinstated following a money laundering case, won the floor test in the state assembly.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday met people at his residence, directing officers to resolve their problems immediately. The interaction took place at the Chief Minister's residence on Kanke Road, Ranchi, where residents shared their complaints, according to an official release from the Chief Minister's office.

Various social organizations also met the Chief Minister, offering congratulations and expressing confidence in his leadership. Soren addressed the gathering, noting that over the past four and a half years, his government has worked to reach every village and household to address public issues.

Soren highlighted the formulation and implementation of numerous policies and public welfare schemes that have benefited the common people. He assured that the government is continuously working to provide basic amenities at people's doorsteps and is committed to improving living standards through effective implementation of these schemes.

He emphasized that with collective cooperation and participation, the vision of a prosperous Jharkhand can be realized. Soren was released from Birsa Munda Jail on June 28 after nearly five months, securing bail in a money laundering case. Following his release, he resumed office after Champai Soren resigned, setting the stage for Hemant Soren to take over as Chief Minister on Wednesday.

Just days into his third term, Soren won the floor test during a special session of the state assembly, securing the support of 45 MLAs. This event marked his swearing-in as the 13th Chief Minister of Jharkhand at Raj Bhavan, Ranchi on July 4. (ANI)
