NITI Aayog Reconstituted: New Ministers Join Modi 3.0 Government

The NITI Aayog has been restructured with new ex-officio members and Special Invitees from the Modi 3.0 government, including Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains the chairperson, with no changes in the Vice Chairman and full-time members positions.

NITI Aayog has undergone a reconstitution in the Modi 3.0 government, introducing several new ministers. Chief among them, Agricultural Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan joins as an ex-officio member, while Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda and Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy are appointed as Special Invitees.

Among the new Special Invitees are also Minister of MSMEs Jitan Ram Manjhi, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Civil Aviation Minister KR Naidu, and Food Processing Industries Minister Chirag Paswan. These ministers represent important allies within the National Democratic Alliance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues as the chairperson of the NITI Aayog. The positions of Vice Chairman and full-time members remain unchanged. The revised composition, approved by PM Modi, signals an inclusive approach with key allies from various sectors.

Other ex-officio members include Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
