Following Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's announcement on the farm loan waiver, BJP leader NV Subhash leveled accusations against the Congress party, claiming they misled farmers with false promises.
Subhash accused the Congress of deceiving the electorate, particularly the farmers, by making promises they could not keep. He highlighted the party's pledge to provide Rs 15,000 for farm investments and waive existing loans.
Subhash further criticized Congress leader Revanth Reddy for urging farmers not to pay interest or principal amounts, promising loan waivers after gaining power. He claimed that, despite Congress' assurances, only a fraction of farmers would benefit from the waiver scheme, accusing the government of cheating the people. Meanwhile, CM Reddy confirmed the waiver details, asserting the scheme's eligibility criteria and the scheduled fund deposit.
