Karnataka Lokayukta Cracks Down on Corruption: Raids Across Multiple Districts

The Karnataka Lokayukta, the state's anti-corruption watchdog, launched a series of raids on Friday across six districts, targeting the residences of 12 state officials.

The operation covered 54 locations, including those of senior personnel such as the Additional Director of Industries and Commerce Department CT Muddu Kumar and Joint Commissioner of Commercial Tax Ramesh Kumar.

This comes as part of a continued crackdown on corruption, following similar statewide raids in March and February involving over 100 officers and multiple districts.
