Reckitt Empowers LGBTQIA++ Community with Pride Month Celebration

Reckitt concluded Pride Month 2024 by hosting a Human Library and Queer Flea Market in Gurugram, demonstrating its strong support for the LGBTQIA++ community. The event featured life stories from community members, with stalls set up by LGBTQIA++ entrepreneurs. Reckitt's initiatives aim to foster inclusivity and equality.

Reckitt, a global leader in consumer health and hygiene, marked the end of Pride Month 2024 with a Human Library and Queer Flea Market at its Gurugram headquarters. The event, attended by senior leadership and employees, underscored Reckitt's commitment as a steadfast ally of the LGBTQIA++ community.

In collaboration with Naz Foundation, the Human Library featured notable speakers like Anjali Gopalan, Chandra Ji, and Bobby Ji, who shared their life stories and advocated for LGBTQIA+ rights. Following the Human Library, a Queer Flea Market allowed LGBTQIA++ entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products.

Ravi Bhatnagar, Director of External Affairs and Partnerships at Reckitt, highlighted the company's initiatives like 'Durex The Birds & Bees Talk (TBBT)' which promote inclusivity and address challenges faced by young adults. Regional HR Director Abhishikta Das emphasized Reckitt's efforts to create a safe and inclusive workplace through ongoing sensitization activities and targeted interventions.
