JP Nadda Highlights BJP's Commitment to Adivasis at Odisha Meeting

BJP's national president, JP Nadda, reiterated the party's dedication to uplifting the Adivasi community during the BJP State Executive Committee Meeting in Odisha. He also praised party members for their election successes and criticized the opposition, particularly targeting Congress for historical missteps.

BJP national president and Union Minister JP Nadda on Friday addressed the BJP State Executive Committee Meeting, emphasizing the party's commitment to serving the Adivasi community and vowing efforts to integrate them into the mainstream. Nadda congratulated party workers for their efforts in the recent Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, declaring, "Thank you for making the lotus bloom in Odisha. We will leave no stone unturned in serving the people and taking them forward."

Nadda assured the Adivasi and Scheduled Caste communities of the BJP's support, stating, "We will lead our Adivasi brothers and Scheduled Caste brothers forward with full strength." He highlighted the party's significant gains in the 18th Lok Sabha and state assembly elections, where BJP won 20 out of 21 Lok Sabha seats, and secured a majority in the state assembly, breaking the 24-year rule of Naveen Patnaik and the BJD.

Nadda also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for securing his third term, drawing historical parallels with Jawaharlal Nehru's tenure. He emphasized BJP's pan-India presence, boasting about the party's governance in states across the nation. Criticizing Congress, Nadda accused them of undermining the Constitution, recalling the Emergency of 1975 and stating, "Rahul Gandhi knows nothing about his own grandmother's history." He concluded his address by posting on his official X handle, celebrating the election outcomes as a testament to the people's commitment to development and aligning with PM Modi's vision of 'Viksit Odisha' and 'Viksit Bharat@2047'.
