A Vistara flight from Amritsar to Mumbai has been diverted to Ahmedabad due to adverse weather conditions at Mumbai airport. Flight UK696 was rerouted as Mumbai experiences significant heavy rainfall and flooding.

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Mumbai has issued a yellow alert predicting heavy rains until July 24, with temperatures expected to range between 29°C and 25°C.

The heavy rain has caused severe waterlogging, leading to road closures and traffic diversions. The monsoon hit six days earlier than scheduled and has affected areas including Delhi, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and several others.
