Himachal Pradesh Approves Major Industrial Projects Worth Rs 2216.93 Crore

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu chaired the 29th meeting of the State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA), which approved 25 new industrial project proposals and significant expansions. These approvals will bring an investment of approximately Rs 2216.93 crore and create around 5027 employment opportunities in Himachal Pradesh.

The newfound proposals include M/s Pure and Cure Healthcare Pvt Ltd in Baddi for manufacturing tablets, capsules, and exotic fruits, and M/s Potent Biotech Ltd in Nalagarh for producing liquid vial lyophilizer, and more. Key expansions include M/s Ambuja Cements for cement and power production, and M/s Ruchira Papers for writing and printing paper.

Among the notable attendees were Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, and Principal Secretary Industries RD Nazeem, reflecting the administration's high interest in fostering industrial growth. The approved projects span diverse sectors from pharmaceuticals to textiles, highlighting the versatile industrial focus.
