Tragic Electrocution of Brothers in Rajasthan

Two brothers in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district tragically lost their lives due to electrocution in an agricultural field. The incident occurred when the older brother went to the field and didn't return, prompting the younger brother to search for him. Their father also received an electric shock when trying to intervene. The family blames the field owner for installing electrified fencing.

Two brothers were tragically electrocuted in an agricultural field in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar on Saturday morning, according to police reports.

The incident began when Sunil alias Sonu Mali, 28, went to the field near his house in Dug town for the usual morning routine, stated DSP Kaluram Verma.

When Sunil didn't return home, his 22-year-old brother Nirmal went in search of him. Nirmal's sudden, loud scream alerted their father Kailash, who discovered both sons unconscious. Kailash also sustained an electric shock while attempting to rescue them.

The two brothers were rushed to a hospital where they were pronounced dead. The victims' family has blamed the field owner for the tragedy, alleging he installed electrified fencing around the property. A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing. The bodies were handed over to the family following a post-mortem examination.
