Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has accused the Samajwadi Party of favoring a single caste in appointments during its rule, impacting the OBC community negatively. Speaking at the BJP Backward Class Front's meeting on Monday, Adityanath likened opposition strategies to those of historical foreign invaders aiming to divide Hindu society.
He emphasized the need to awaken the OBC community's latent strength, attributing it to the mythical power of Bajrangbali (Lord Hanuman). Highlighting the BJP's achievements, CM Yogi pointed out that 650,000 government jobs were created in the last six and a half years, with 60 percent filled by OBC candidates. He contrasted this with the alleged partisan selections under the Samajwadi Party.
Adityanath detailed the government's efforts, including 125,000 teacher recruitments under his administration with a significant number of OBC appointments. He also condemned the opposition's criticism of recruitment processes, accusing them of disrupting communal harmony. CM Yogi called for vigilance against misinformation spread through social media and reiterated the commitment to uphold the interests of the OBC community, aligning with PM Modi's vision for India's economic future.
