RECPDCL Transfers Power Project SPV to Techno Electric
REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) transferred a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited for establishing a 400 kV station in Assam. Techno Electric emerged as the transmission service provider through a tariff-based competitive bidding process. The handover involved key company and utility officials.
REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has transferred a project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited.
The SPV, called NERGS-I Power Transmission, was created to establish a new 400 kV switching station at Bokajan and a 400 kV D/c line at New Mariani in Assam, according to an official statement.
Techno Electric & Engineering Company won the project as the transmission service provider through a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process managed by RECPDCL, which served as the bid process coordinator.
The formal handover was executed by RECPDCL CEO TSC Bosh and Dinesh Parikh, General Manager (Commercial) at Techno Electric, in the presence of senior officials from RECPDCL, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India Limited, and Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited.
