Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Reports Strong Growth in June Quarter FY25
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M) reports a 26% rise in net profit for the June quarter of FY25, totaling Rs 249.12 crore. The company's revenue grew to Rs 3,263.05 crore, buoyed by strong performance in the automotive after-market, OEMs, and export markets.
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M) has recorded a 26 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit, posting Rs 249.12 crore for the June quarter of FY25.
In a filing on Saturday, the company revealed a previous net profit of Rs 198.31 crore for the April-June period of 2023-24.
The revenue from operations climbed to Rs 3,263.05 crore from Rs 2,796.27 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. This surge was driven by robust year-on-year volumes in the automotive after-market, OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), and export markets, as stated by the company.
''We have witnessed robust traction from our international operations, led by the uptake of our indigenously designed AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries. We are optimistic about growth in this segment in the upcoming months,'' noted Harshavardhana Gourineni, Executive Director, Automotive & Industrial Batteries.
The company intends to expand its product range, tap into new segments, and fortify its global presence, he added.
ARE&M specializes in energy storage solutions, lithium-ion cell manufacturing, EV chargers, and automotive and industrial lubricants, among other areas.
