Swachh Bio, a lignocellulosic biofuels manufacturing company, is set to establish a 250 KLPD second-generation, cellulosic biofuels plant in Telangana, the state government confirmed on Tuesday.

In an official statement, Swachh Bio declared a capital investment exceeding Rs 1,000 crore for the project's first phase, aimed at creating 500 jobs, inclusive of direct plant employment and support roles.

This development follows a meeting between Praveen Paripati, Chairperson of Swachh Bio, and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy during Reddy's US visit. 'We are enthusiastic about partnering with Telangana's visionary leadership under CM Reddy,' Paripati stated.

On the same visit, Chief Minister Reddy, accompanied by Industries and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, secured agreements for capacity expansions with Arcesium and Trigyn Technologies. Arcesium plans to expand its Hyderabad office, hiring 500 tech talents over the next two years, while Trigyn Technologies will establish an AI innovation center, training over 1,000 people within three years.

The state government emphasizes its commitment to fostering growth in the IT sector, making Hyderabad a hub for global operations. In a New York roundtable, Reddy highlighted Telangana's business readiness to top CEOs, garnering significant interest.
