Unitech Ltd Reports Staggering Q1 Net Loss of Rs 1,206 Crore

Additionally, the company's total income has declined from Rs 91.09 crore to Rs 84.04 crore year-on-year.
Realty firm Unitech Ltd has reported a staggering consolidated net loss of Rs 1,206 crore for the first quarter of FY25, marking a significant increase from the net loss of Rs 702.97 crore recorded in the same period last year.
According to a regulatory filing, the company's total income declined to Rs 84.04 crore in the April-June quarter, down from Rs 91.09 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
This follows the Supreme Court's directive on January 20, 2020, which ordered the immediate superseding of Unitech's Board of Directors to enable a new board, as per the central government's proposal, to take over management.
