Three people were injured after an old banquet hall collapsed in Delhi's Model Town, prompting a search operation. Emergency services, including the Delhi Fire Service and NDRF, have been deployed to the site. Eyewitnesses report ongoing repair work; further details are awaited.

Three individuals sustained injuries in a building collapse at Mahendru Enclave in Delhi's Model Town, Assistant Regional Fire Officer CL Meena confirmed on Saturday. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. 'We received a call about the building collapse and dispatched three vehicles from the Delhi Fire Service,' Meena stated.

The old, dilapidated banquet hall also housed a telephone tower on its roof, which is now dangerously tilted. Search operations are ongoing to determine if anyone is trapped. 'The operation will continue after securing the tower,' Meena noted.

Delhi Police, NDRF, and the Delhi Fire Service are at the site. Witnesses, including neighbour Paras, observed the collapse around 3 o'clock. Repair work was reportedly underway in the rear section of the building. Further investigation is pending.
