Punjab Police Officers Honored with Prestigious Awards on Independence Day 2024

Governor of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria, has officially announced the recipients of the Chief Minister's Rakshak Padak award and Chief Minister's Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty, which will be conferred on Independence Day 2024. These honors aim to acknowledge the exceptional service of various Punjab Police officers.
The awardees for the Rakshak Padak include Sub-inspector SHO City Phagwara Amandeep Kumar, In-charge Police Post Industrial Area Phagwara ASI Jasbir Singh, and Constable Ranjit Singh from Police Station City Phagwara. This recognition underscores their unwavering commitment to duty.
Additionally, 18 officials have been selected for the Chief Minister's Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty, featuring prominent names like Commandant 3rd Commando Battalion Jagwinder Singh, DCP Ludhiana Jaskiranjit Singh Teja, AIG Intelligence Swarandeep Singh, AIG Elections Cell Vikas Sabharwal, and DSP Vigilance Bureau Hoshiarpur Munish Kumar. Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav extended his gratitude to the Punjab Government and highlighted the role of such accolades in motivating the police force.
