The film, directed by Viral Shah and produced by Parthiv Gohil and Manasi Parekh, showcases the story of rural women’s empowerment and was honored for its outstanding contribution to cinema.
'Kutch Express' emerged victorious in several key categories, including Best Feature Film Promoting National and Social Values, Best Costume Design awarded to Nikki Joshi, and Best Actress shared by Manasi Parekh. Chief Minister Patel commended the film's achievements, calling it a proud moment for Gujarati cinema and expressing optimism for continued production of thought-provoking films.
Manasi Parekh and Nithya Menen both received the Best Actress in a Leading Role award, with Menen winning for her performance in the Tamil film 'Thiruchitrambalam'.
