Ashan, a 12-year-old boy with aspirations of becoming a doctor, tragically lost his life after being electrocuted by a live wire near his South Delhi home.

His father, Premchand, a Pakistani migrant who trades scrap parts for a living, has blamed the electricity department for negligence, citing an unresolved complaint from August about exposed wires in their Maidan Garhi neighborhood.

The incident occurred on September 4, while Ashan was playing with friends. Despite immediate assistance from a neighbor named Sikander, Ashan was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. A case has been filed, and a police investigation is ongoing.
