Suspected Terrorist Nabbed in Poonch with Explosives
A man linked with a suspected terror group was arrested in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir with a significant amount of explosives and grenades. The arrest came during a joint operation by the Jammu-Kashmir Police, the Indian Army, and the Central Reserve Police Forces.

A man associated with a suspected terror group was apprehended by security forces on Thursday evening in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, carrying a large quantity of explosive substances and grenades, according to officials.
In an operation by the Jammu-Kashmir Police, the Romeo Force of 16 RR of the Indian Army, and the 38 battalions of the Central Reserve Police Forces, a joint Naka was set up at Potha bypass in Poonch district. Security personnel observed a man approaching from Surankot in a suspicious manner. He attempted to flee but was apprehended. A blue bag containing three HE-36 hand grenades, explosive substances, and other incriminating materials was found in his possession.
Preliminary investigations identified the man as Mohd Shabir, a resident of Daryala, Nowshera. He was reportedly in contact with a handler named Azim Khan, alias Mudeer, from Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). Mudeer had directed Shabir to collect these consignments from Surankot town. Authorities have taken cognizance of the matter and more arrests are expected. (ANI)
