Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed profound shock and grief on Friday following the tragic death of seven individuals in a bus accident on Mogali ghat road in Chittoor district. The Chief Minister reviewed the situation and sought details on the relief measures and medical aid being extended to the victims.
He directed officials to ensure that the injured receive proper medical treatment and conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased. CM Naidu also promised that the government would provide all necessary support to the bereaved families.
According to police reports, at least seven passengers were killed and several others injured after an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus crashed into a truck on Mogali ghat road in Chittoor on Friday. The bus was en route from Tirupati to Bengaluru when the accident took place. The injured have been promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
