On Friday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman convened with Edward Knight, Nasdaq's Executive Vice Chairman, to outline significant government initiatives and promising investment opportunities in India.
Knight led a delegation from the US-India Business Council, which held constructive dialogues with the minister.
In a statement on X, the finance ministry emphasized Sitharaman's discussion on the government's pivotal initiatives and the vast investment potential in the country.
Furthermore, the Finance Minister engaged with the US International Development Finance Corporation delegation, led by Deputy CEO Nisha Biswal. The US DFC recognized India as a prime investment location, highlighting extensive opportunities.
