Arvind Kejriwal, the National Convener of the Aam Admi Party (AAP), asserted on Monday that no government could be established in Haryana without the backing of AAP. Highlighting his commitment to honesty, Kejriwal recalled how he had resigned and asked Delhi residents to re-elect him only if they believed in his integrity.
During a roadshow in Haryana's Dabwali, Kejriwal, calling himself a son of Haryana, accused the BJP of attempting to break him through various means, including torture and withholding his medication. Emphasizing his resilience, he declared, "They can break anyone but not a person from Haryana." He also vowed to provide free electricity in Haryana if AAP supports the new government.
On the other side, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a fierce critique against Congress during a rally in Haryana's Jagadhari. Shah highlighted internal conflicts within the Congress, with leaders fighting over assembly tickets and the Chief Ministerial position. Lauding the BJP's governance, Shah pointed out that the BJP fulfilled the long-standing demand for the one rank, one pension scheme, which benefited numerous soldiers from Haryana.
Haryana’s 90-member legislative assembly election will take place on October 5, with results to be counted on October 8, alongside Jammu and Kashmir. (ANI)
