Bihar Museum to Host Abhay K's First State Exhibition on Buddhist Philosophy

Bihar Museum, Patna, is set to host an art exhibition by poet and artist Abhay K, exploring the Buddhist philosophy of Shunyata. The event, from October 1-10, will be inaugurated by Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha. This marks Abhay K's first exhibition in his home state.

Bihar Museum in Patna will hold an exhibition of paintings by celebrated poet, artist, and diplomat Abhay K, focusing on the Buddhist philosophy of Shunyata, from October 1-10. The Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Vijay Kumar Sinha, will inaugurate the event on October 1.

Abhay K, who has showcased his artworks in countries such as Russia, Brazil, and Madagascar, will hold his first exhibition in his home state of Bihar. Anjani Kumar Singh, Director General of Bihar Museum, expressed delight in hosting Abhay K's debut exhibition in Bihar. He highlighted the artist's innovative and transcendental approach to depicting Shunyata or Emptiness, a concept pivotal to Buddhist teaching.

The artist sees this exhibition as a proud moment, particularly since Bihar is the birthplace of Shunyata. Abhay K, known for his extensive work in literature and art, has previously received accolades for his poetry and translations. His exhibitions have spanned Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
