Choice Finserv Expands with Strategic Acquisitions, Moneycontrol Pro Hits Subscription Milestone

Choice Finserv has acquired the retail lending businesses of Paisabuddy Finance and Sureworth Financial to enhance its small business and green finance capabilities. The acquisition doubles the workforce and expands the branch network significantly. Simultaneously, Moneycontrol Pro has exceeded one million subscriptions, strengthening its media subscription leadership in India.

Non-bank lender Choice Finserv has strategically expanded its operations by acquiring the retail lending arms of Paisabuddy Finance and Sureworth Financial for an undisclosed amount, boosting its assets to Rs 801 crore. This acquisition is set to enhance its offerings in small business and green finance sectors.

The company's workforce will more than double, reaching 1,180 employees, with branch locations increasing from 71 to 168 across key regions including Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Delhi NCR. This move reflects Choice Finserv's aggressive growth strategy in the competitive lending market.

Simultaneously, Moneycontrol Pro, part of Network 18, has surpassed one million paying subscribers, cementing its status as India's largest media subscription service. The platform intends to enhance its offerings further to remain competitive against international counterparts.
