Serica Energy Faces Setback Due to North Sea Outage

Serica Energy announced Tuesday that it anticipates its full-year production to fall slightly below previous forecasts due to an unexpected outage at its Triton floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel in the North Sea.

Issues with the single gas system have been identified, and Dana Petroleum, the operator, is currently working on the necessary repairs, as confirmed by Serica.

Despite the setback, production from other assets aligns with projections, and the recent surge in gas prices has bolstered Serica's cash flow.
