In a swift move, Delhi Police have arrested two suspects linked to a recent shooting outside a businessman's residence in the Rani Bagh area. The arrests follow a brief exchange of gunfire, according to official reports on Tuesday.
The apprehended individuals, Bilal Ansari and Shuheb, both in their early twenties, hail from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Police revealed that the duo was integral to the attack, which was allegedly ordered by fugitive Pawan Shokeen, alias Sonu, from abroad, as part of an extortion plot.
Authorities managed to intercept the men near Old Kakrola Road after receiving intelligence about their movement. During the operation, police recovered weapons and a motorcycle reported stolen last month, further unraveling the network's criminal activities.
