Tragic Collision: Two Dead, One Injured in Guwahati Road Accident

In a tragic road accident occurring in Guwahati's Khanapara area late Thursday night, two individuals, including a young girl, lost their lives. A head-on collision between two vehicles near the footbridge resulted in the catastrophic incident.

Reports indicate that the force of the collision was so substantial that one of the vehicles struck the footbridge, breaking through its railing and falling back onto the road. This severe impact left both vehicles severely damaged, claiming the lives of Dipit Dey and Konamika Narzery at the scene.

Another victim, 23-year-old Neha Basumatary, suffered soft tissue injuries but is now stable. She was treated at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital and has been discharged, with instructions to return for follow-up if necessary. Authorities are still investigating the complete details of the accident.
